Iravati Research and Communication Centre LLP (LLP Identification Number: AAO-4901) or IRCC is a Kolkata-based think-centre. Its key objective is to promote research and encourage discourses on the business and socio-economic potential of India as a whole, with special emphasis on eastern and north-eastern states vis-a-vis their neighbours.

IRCC offers expertise-based advocacy solutions to business and industry. It is driven by professionals and has a network of associates spread in India as well as in the neighbouring economies in the East. Animesh Nandan Sahay

(Mentor)

Animesh Nandan Sahay is a former chairman-cum-managing director of Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd (MCL), the second largest coal producing company from the Coal India family. He was also the chairman of Neelachal Power Transmission Company – a JV between MCL and Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Sahay is an MBA from BIT Mesra and did his B Tech (1976) in Mining Engineering from IIT-Kharagpur. Before heading MCL, he was Director (Technical) of the Central Mine Planning & Design Institute Ranchi.

Dr Sreeradha Datta

Advisor- Neighbourhood Affairs

Dr Sreeradha Datta heads the Neighbourhood Studies Centre of the Vivekananda International Foundation, New Delhi and is a non-resident Senior Fellow with the Institute of South Asian Studies, National University of Singapore. With a PhD from JNU, she has been director, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies, Kolkata and serves on the academic boards of several universities and think-tanks. Dutta authored and edited many books and articles on the Eastern Neighbourhood affairs. Her latest book is titled: Act East Policy and Northeast India.

Dr. Nihar R. Nayak

Dr. Nihar R. Nayak is Research Fellow with IDSA, New Delhi. His area of expertise is Climate Change, Energy, and Political violence in South Asia. Dr. Nayak has completed PhD in International Politics from JNU. He was Visiting Fellow to PRIO, Oslo, in 2006 and 2007. He did a special course on Peace Research in International Summer School from Oslo University in 2007. He has been Visiting Faculty to the Center for the Study of Nepal, Faculty of Social Science, Banaras Hindu University in 2011. He has been Guest Faculty to LBSNAA, Mussoorie since September 2006. Dr. Nayak has both national and international publications including the book “Strategic Himalayas: Republican Nepal and External Powers”.

Pratim Ranjan Bose is a Researcher and Corporate Consultant. Bose specializes in Energy; Infrastructure, Regional Trade, Eastern Neighbourhood and Connectivity. He was a financial journalist and served as Chief of Bureau of The Hindu BusinessLine. A post-graduate in economics from Jadavpur University and a Jefferson Fellow; Bose participated in many research & advocacy projects, spearheaded by Indian and foreign think tanks. He writes newspaper columns and co-authored several books.
